We are looking for our client based in Floreal a Credit analyst

 

Office hours – Monday to Friday

 

JOB Description:

 Reading, assessing, analysing, and interpreting client's credit data, financial statements, and other financial reports of companies.

 Preparing, evaluating, and completing credit proposals with thorough analysis of Applicant’s strength and weaknesses, repayment capacity and associated risk profile prior to submitting/recommending applications for decisioning.

 Ensure credit review on all applications are following the company’s credit strategy and policies.

 Performing the borrower’s credit assessment within the set SLA timeframe.

 Outline to the client the reasons for refusal, where appropriate.

 Engage with the borrowers and accountants to gather information where appropriate.

 Ensure that specific conditions, if any, stipulated by Credit Committee when approving a borrowing request are reflected in the loan documentation.

 Support and participate in credit related projects, system enhancement and process improvement.

 Developing and utilizing credit scoring systems and statistical models to assist in credit decision.

 Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with team members, including both internal and external stakeholders such as sales personnel, legal officers, and investors.

 Ad-hoc assignments and other responsibilities delegated by the supervisor from time to time.

 

 

Requirements

What are we looking for?

 Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or any other equivalent.

 Preferably 1 – 3 years of experience in credit processing and analyst position.

 Experience in handling SME portfolio would be added advantage.

 Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team to achieve collective

goals.

 Familiar with Excel and accounting analysis.

 Good communications and written skills in English, French and Kreol.

 ACA/ACCA qualification would be added advantage.
