We are looking for an Accounts Officer to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. Candidates will have the responsibility of managing expense reports, entering financial transactions into our internal databases.
Responsibilities
• Create and update expense reports
• Prepare bank deposits
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Participate in annual audits
• Posting journals and keeping GL up to date.
• Preparing account reconciliations.
• Process all bank transactions and perform bank reconciliation.
• Preparing and updating payment file.
• Monitor accounts payable and perform supplier reconciliations.
Requirements and skills
• Work experience as an Accounting Officer
• Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
• Organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Profiles: Partly ACCA qualified, minimum ACCA level 2. Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
