MariDeal is looking for a motivated and dynamic Account Executive who will be responsible for the administration of the portfolio of merchants and corporate clients held by the designated senior account/account manager, developing strong relationships with other departments, and ensuring that all the company needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Under the supervision and coordination of the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for addressing any merchant/client queries and complaints. You will be providing support to the Account managers and Senior Account Managers with developing sales, pricing plans, and conducting research to identify new sales leads. You will liaise on behalf of the senior account/account manager with other relevant departments of MariDeal, for offers and bookings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Constant follow up on availabilities, bookings, flash sales, issues, leads, merchant requests and corporate client requests.
  • Contacting merchants and corporate clients for queries and information.
  • Set meetings with merchants and corporate clients for the senior account/account manager.
  • Effect mystery shopper calls and document the results to the right channels and departments.
  • Prepare contracts for signature with merchants and corporate clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze the competition, and communicating the information to the accounts department.
  • Creation of new merchant accounts on the database of MARIDEAL while using the available tools and software.
  • Following and implementing the marketing calendar of MariDEal for promotional events.
  • Compiling weekly & monthly sales reports.
  • Directing feedback from merchants to relevant departments.
  • Supporting the Account Department with other administrative tasks, as required.
  • Any other ad hoc responsibilities as may be provided by senior management.

Education (Academic, Professional, Technical):

  • BSc degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, communication, Hospitality and tourism Manager or relevant field
Competencies:
  • Fluency in English and French – Both written & spoken.
  • Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships.
  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Fast learner and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Experience / Profile:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably as an Account Executive or relevant sales role is a plus.
