GFA Insurance Ltd is a dynamic and customer-focused insurance company committed to delivering high-quality insurance solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-oriented Customer Service Officer cum Receptionist to join our team.

Position Summary

1.    Assessment

·       Register new claims accurately and promptly in the system.

·       Verify policy coverage and validity before claim processing.

·       Ensure claim documentation is complete and compliant with company guidelines.

·       Set provisions/reserves accurately as per company policy and guidelines.

·       Claim Follow-Up (Third Party & Comprehensive Claims)

·       Send claim intimation and acknowledgment emails.

·       Follow up with reminders for outstanding documents or reports.

·       Communicate effectively (via phone, email, SMS) with claimants, policyholders, and third parties on a regular basis.

·       Advise clients about the claims process, required documentation, and their rights.

·       Assist claimants with any concerns or complaints, escalating complex issues when necessary.

·       Appoint surveyors, follow up for timely survey reports, and ensure report quality.

·       Liaise with garages, repairers, and assessors for vehicle inspections and repairs.

·       Book contract cars or alternative transport as required.

·       Evaluate claims fairly and ensure settlement in line with policy terms (cash settlement or repair).

·       Process all claim payments promptly and accurately.

·       Ensure an excellent level of customer service and empathy throughout the claims process.

 

3. Claims Monitoring & Reporting

 ·       Set daily/weekly work targets and ensure they are achieved.

·       Track progress and report performance updates to the Claims Manager.

·       Maintain proper claim records, documentation, and correspondence for audit purposes.

·       Identify and escalate any suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims.

·       Contribute to process improvement by providing feedback on recurring issues or inefficiencies.

 

4. Compliance & Process Adherence

 

·       Abide by the company’s Claims Guidelines, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

·       Maintain confidentiality and handle all data in line with data protection regulations.

·       Ensure consistent application of claims handling procedures and best practices.
