Job Description


The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, colleagues, visitors, and hotel property at all times while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and guest service.

Patrol the resort premises regularly to ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and property.

Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to prevent unauthorized access and suspicious activities.

Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and guest requests for assistance.

Conduct routine inspections of security and safety equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports, occurrence logs, and daily security records.

Enforce hotel security policies, procedures, and safety regulations in line with company standards.

Assist during emergency situations including fire alarms, evacuations, accidents, and medical emergencies.

Provide support during special events, VIP movements, and high occupancy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Coordinate effectively with other departments to maintain a safe and secure working environment.

Maintain confidentiality of guest information, hotel operations, and security-related matters at all times.

Qualifications, experience and abilities:

  • School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in security services, hospitality, or a related field would be an advantage.
  • Possession of a valid Security Guard License or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in emergency situations.
  • Physically fit and able to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of fire safety, emergency response, and first aid procedures is an advantage.
  • Strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Customer service oriented with a professional appearance and attitude.
