Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical systems in the hotel.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, laundry and back-of-house facilities.
- Maintain and monitor - Main LT panels, sub-panels, DBs, Lighting systems (indoor, outdoor, façade, landscape), Power outlets and appliances, UPS systems and inverters, Generators and ATS systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per schedule.
- Assign and supervise daily tasks and monitor work quality and productivity.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and hotel standards.
- Maintain efficient lighting systems (LED, timers, sensors, dimmers).
- Attend and resolve electrical breakdowns promptly.
- Support renovation projects, room upgrades, and new installations.
- Liaise with contractors and vendors for electrical works and AMC services.
- Prepare reports on power consumption, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in the hotel sector.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidate should have experience in maintenance of lighting, HVAC electrical systems, elevators support systems and kitchen equipment.
- Candidate should be familiar with preventive maintenance schedules.
- Candidate should possess knowledge of energy-saving systems and automation (BMS is an advantage).
- Candidate should be able to work on shifts, weekends and on-call.
- Candidate should be well trained in electrical safety, fire safety and first aid.
- Candidate should have basic understanding of plumbing or HVAC systems.
