- Develop data pipelines supporting Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Build and consume REST APIs and third-party system integrations.
- Implement secure authentication and role-based access using technologies such as OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Use Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing as part of the software development lifecycle.
- Apply secure coding practices based on the OWASP Top 10.
- Perform appropriate security testing, including SAST, DAST, dependency, and secret scanning.
- Use AI development tools responsibly, ensuring AI-generated code is properly reviewed, tested, secured, and validated before deployment.
- Develop practical AI-enabled solutions where appropriate, with suitable testing and human oversight.
- Ensure appropriate logging, monitoring, backup, recovery, and controlled deployment between test and live environments.
- Ensure personal data is handled in accordance with the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017.
Key Qualifications :
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent proven professional experience.
- More than 5 years of professional software development experience, including full-stack applications successfully designed, deployed, and supported.
- Strong practical experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL Server, REST APIs, Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Experience with React, FastAPI, or comparable modern development frameworks.
- Good knowledge of secure application development, authentication, access control, automated testing, and application security.
- Practical experience using AI coding tools, together with the ability to review, test, and validate their output.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications on Windows, Linux, or cloud environments.
- Ability to take ownership of existing codebases and manage multiple development projects.
- Good written and spoken English and French.
Key Competencies :
