Job description

  • Duties & Responsibilities

    • Clean and maintain guest rooms, meeting rooms, lobbies, villas and common areas.
    • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust and polish floors, furniture and surfaces.
    • Clean and sanitise toilets, bathrooms, mirrors, washbasins, showers and other facilities.
    • Change bed linen, towels and replenish guest amenities and room supplies.
    • Wash, dry and organise linen.
    • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, polishers and buffers.
    • Clean windows, elevators, restrooms, patios and back-of-house areas.
    • Check vacant rooms daily to ensure they remain clean and fresh.
    • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety in all assigned areas.
    • Report maintenance issues, lost property and safety concerns to the supervisor.
    • Follow company policies, procedures and safety standards.
    • Handle keys responsibly and complete daily work assignment sheets.

  • Qualifications & Requirements

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
    • Basic understanding of French and English.
    • Knowledge of cleaning products, sanitation procedures and cleaning equipment.
    • Ability to use cleaning equipment properly.
    • Knowledge of cleaning different surfaces and materials without causing damage.
    • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, bend, kneel and crouch when required.
    • Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals.
    • Flexible and available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
    • Good communication skills and team spirit.
    • Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
    • Positive attitude, reliable and attentive to detail.
