Commercial Traveller

🎯 Sales & Client Visits

• Make sales calls to new & existing clients as per route list (at least 35 client visits per day)
• Ensure a minimum strike rate of 80% for the day
• Ensure sales targets are met & budget sheet filled on a daily basis
• Ensure all products are referenced and well-merchandised on the trade
• File the daily sales call once client is visited

🧾 Invoicing & Payments

• Verify that all invoices bear clients' signature, BRN & telephone number
• Ensure that all discounts given to clients bear the client signature and telephone number
• Ensure that any payment made by client be backed by signed Official Receipt
• Ensure that cash payment be stored in the safe in the goods vehicle
• Monitor all debtors and ensure payment of receivables in time

💰 Cash & Stock Management

• Close stock & accounts at the end of day (Fill Daily Cash Receipt)
• Ensure that the closing accounts and cash collected at clients do tally & there are no discrepancies whatsoever
• Replenish stock and ensure all products are available in goods vehicle
• Monitor stock rotation of products both on outlet's shelves and in stores

🚚 Vehicle & Equipment

• Ensure that the key for delivery truck is always kept with line salesmen
• Ensure that goods vehicle is always clean & tidy with strong emphasis on storing the products in good condition

📋 Sales Materials

• Gather all materials and documents for efficient and effective sales (Price lists, discounts, POS mat)
• Ensure POS materials are in good condition and present at all clients

🤝 Customer Relationship & Service

• Build and maintain effective customer relationships in order to bring strong loyalty
• Handle and respond to clients' queries quickly and effectively
• Ensure excellent customer service to clients

📊 Reporting & Compliance

• Provide relevant and constant market feedback to management
• Abide by the Safety and Health regulations to ensure a safe working environment
