Truck Driver

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Drive articulated trucks safely to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure serviceability and roadworthiness.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Ensure loads are properly secured.
• Follow established routes and schedules.
• Comply with traffic laws and regulations.
• Monitor vehicle performance and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the Management.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures including the use of personal protective equipment and safe driving practices.

PROFILE :

• Holder of a valid goods vehicle driving license with 5 years’ relevant experience.
• A basic notion of mechanic would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Secondary education or equivalent.
