Job description
The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of COST CONTROLLER based at TRIBECA, MAURITIUS.
The incumbent will be responsible to:
- Monitor and control food, beverage and operational costs.
- Analyse purchasing, stock movements, consumption and wastage.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and inventory reconciliations.
- Monitor stock variances and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare cost reports and analyse monthly expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing and stock control procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and minimise wastage.
- Work closely with the Finance, Purchasing and Operations teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Control or a related field.
- Previous experience in cost control, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Knowledge of accounting and inventory management systems; experience with Sage X3 would be an advantage.
PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
