Room Attendant

Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and service-driven individual to join our Housekeeping Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across guest villas, corridors and designated areas, ensuring an exceptional and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest villas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Replace used towels, bed linen and guest amenities, ensuring all supplies are replenished.
• Ensure guest rooms and designated areas are maintained according to the resort's quality standards.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and report any feedback or complaints to the supervisor.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, damages or malfunctioning equipment.
• Handle cleaning products, chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to the supervisor.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, checklists and health and safety guidelines.
• Participate in training programs and departmental briefings to continuously improve service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with the Housekeeping team to ensure efficient daily operations.

Profile & Requirements

• Previous experience in Housekeeping or a similar position in the hospitality industry will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Honest, reliable, punctual and service-oriented.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures, products and equipment.
