Job description
We are looking for a proactive Cluster IT Officer to support day-to-day technology operations across multiple sites in Grand Port. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and keeping people connected with reliable, secure IT services.
In this position, you will oversee local IT support activities, coordinate with users and stakeholders, and ensure smooth performance of key hardware, software, and network systems. You will play an important role in maintaining service quality, reducing downtime, and helping teams work efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing first and second-level IT support for users across the cluster
- Monitoring and maintaining end-user devices, printers, networks, and access rights
- Coordinating troubleshooting, incident resolution, and escalation when needed
- Supporting system updates, asset tracking, and basic infrastructure maintenance
- Ensuring IT policies, security practices, and service procedures are followed
- Working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues
- Contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery and user experience
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree or Licence Bac +3 in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, and prior experience at supervisor level in a technical support or IT operations environment. Strong troubleshooting skills, a structured approach, and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users are essential.
The right person will be organised, responsive, and comfortable managing priorities in a fast-paced environment. If you are motivated by service excellence and want to make a tangible impact across a cluster of operations, this opportunity offers the chance to grow your career while supporting business-critical technology.
