Reporting to the Assistant Marketing & Communication Manager, you will promote the Group’s products and services through a variety of channels, media, events, partnerships and sponsorships, supporting both our General Insurance and Life businesses, as well as other Group entities in Mauritius and East Africa.

Main Responsibilities
▪ Campaign planning & execution: Lead and implement approved marketing projects and campaigns end-to-end, with clear goals aligned to strategic and distribution objectives and a detailed operational plan, with a particular focus on General Insurance initiatives.
▪ Digital marketing & content: Drive marketing activation across internal and external digital platforms, keeping the company websites, social media and intranet regularly updated with engaging content, targeted campaigns and promotions.
▪ Brand management: Ensure consistent application of the MUA brand identity across all communication materials, coordinate the development of marketing collateral with our agency and oversee its production with suppliers.
▪ Events, partnerships & sponsorships: Develop partnerships and sponsorships, and coordinate the logistics of events, open days and customer activations to maximise brand visibility and engagement.
▪ Performance reporting: Monitor and report on campaign and product performance on a regular basis, recommending corrective actions and new ideas where appropriate.
▪ Agency, media & supplier management: Brief the communication agency, manage media bookings and placements, and build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, lead times and delivery.
▪ Market & competitor insight: Benchmark competitors gather client and market feedback, follow industry trends and contribute ideas for new products, services and campaigns.
▪ Budget & procurement: Contribute to marketing budget management and reporting, and follow the procurement process (tenders, supplier registration, purchase orders) for departmental projects.
▪ Stakeholder coordination: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and in line with regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements
▪ A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or a related field.
▪ A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in marketing and/or communication; experience within the insurance or financial services sector will be considered an advantage.
▪ Solid exposure to PR/communication and digital marketing (social media, website, Google Analytics), with proven experience managing campaigns, events, agencies and suppliers.
▪ Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English and French.
▪ Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
