This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or final-year student to gain practical experience in a dynamic engineering environment while developing technical and professional skills.

Job requirements:

The successful candidate should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Under the guidance of experienced team members, the Trainee Support Engineer will:

• Assist in using engineering and design software to support project requirements (knowledge of CAD software would be an advantage).
• Support the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and project records.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and actively participate in project discussions.
• Assist in identifying and analysing technical issues and contribute to the development of solutions.
• Participate in inspections and assessments of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Gain exposure to the design, operation, and maintenance of mechanical and mechatronic systems.
• Develop an understanding of engineering methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve technical competencies.
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure accuracy in assigned tasks.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field (or currently completing final year studies).
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software would be an advantage.
• Organized, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively within a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment.
