Fund Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Fund Accountant to join our growing Mauritius team. You will deliver accounting, financial reporting and investor servicing support across a portfolio of alternative investment funds and listed fund structures, with a particular focus on Guernsey and UK-listed funds.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic fund accounts, NAV calculations, supporting schedules and investor reports.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and process investment transactions, capital activity and corporate actions.
• Act as a key client contact and liaise with investment managers, auditors, advisers, custodians and directors.
• Coordinate annual audits and ensure reporting deadlines and service commitments are met.
• Support regulatory reporting, internal controls and governance requirements.

About You

• ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with at least five years’ fund accounting experience.
• Experience with alternative investment funds and direct exposure to Guernsey funds and UK-listed vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial statement preparation, NAVs and investor reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with fund accounting and reporting platforms.
• Highly organized, analytical and detail-focused, with excellent English communication and client-management skills.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and contribute positively to a team.
