Lorry Drivers

Agiliss Ltd is looking for a responsible and experienced Lorry Driver to support its daily distribution operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of goods to customers while ensuring proper handling of products, vehicles and delivery documents.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive company lorries safely and responsibly for the delivery and collection of goods.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to customers according to the assigned delivery schedule.
• Verify goods against delivery documents before departure and upon delivery.
• Ensure products are properly secured and handled during transportation.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
• Obtain customers' acknowledgement/signature on relevant delivery documents.
• Maintain delivery documents and return them to the appropriate department.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks before starting daily deliveries.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, delays or delivery issues immediately.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Comply with road traffic regulations, company procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Support other logistics and distribution duties when required.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle to be driven.
• Previous experience as a Lorry Driver / Delivery Driver is preferred.
• Good knowledge of roads and delivery locations across Mauritius.
• Responsible, punctual and reliable.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle delivery documents accurately.
• Able to work effectively within a logistics and distribution team.
