Helper

Job Purpose

To provide general operational support by assisting with the handling, movement, preparation and organisation of goods and materials while maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading goods, cartons and materials.
• Move and arrange stock within the warehouse or designated work areas.
• Assist with packing, labelling, sorting and preparation of products.
• Support warehouse, production and delivery teams with daily operational activities.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Handle products and equipment carefully to minimise damage or loss.
• Assist with counting and checking goods when required.
• Follow instructions provided by supervisors and team leaders.
• Observe health and safety, hygiene and company procedures at all times.
• Wear required PPE and use tools and equipment appropriately.
• Report damaged goods, unsafe conditions or operational issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to operational requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Basic education/literacy and numeracy skills.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, FMCG or distribution environment would be an advantage.
• Able to understand and follow work instructions.
• Able to perform manual handling duties safely.
