Purchasing and Logistics Officer

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time on-site role as a Purchasing and Logistics Officer (Male) at Clardy Ltd located in Moka. The role involves overseeing the purchasing and delivery of products, conducting regular stock inventories, coordinating with suppliers, and optimizing logistics processes to ensure timely deliveries and cost-efficiency

·       To follow-up orders with suppliers (airfreight & seafreight) from pickup to arrival MRU

·       To communicate professionally with suppliers, forwarders and customers

·       To sort clients’ orders and stock on arrival in the Store / Warehouse

·       To keep our Stock reports updated after picking is done

·       To supervise the unstuffing of containers and break-down of pallets, for separation of orders by client (at our subcontracted warehouse)

·       To organize delivery to customers (with subcontracted trucks + own truck)

·       To plan and monitor our truck’s daily movement

·       To supervise delivery of goods on site (when necessary)

·       To issue Delivery Notes from the system

·       To comply with the company’s values

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

• Good analytical and organizational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple orders, deadlines, and priorities accurately.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with suppliers, transporters, warehouse staff, sales teams, and management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and comfort working with digital tools and databases.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or freight forwarding.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Ability to work with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and attention to detail.
• Must possess a valid driving licence.
