Ava Beach Restaurant is looking for a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Barman / Barmaid to join our team.

We are seeking a motivated hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences, preparing quality beverages, and maintaining high standards of bar operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages according to established standards.
• Ensure consistency in beverage presentation, quality, and portion control.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional guest service.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organisation of the bar.
• Monitor beverage stock levels, assist with inventory control, and minimise wastage.
• Follow standard recipes, beverage costing, and stock rotation procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of bar equipment.
• Work closely with the restaurant service team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Promote beverage sales through product knowledge and recommendations.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience as a Barman / Barmaid in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality establishment.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, wines, and spirits.
• Good communication skills in English and French.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team spirit, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Knowledge of beverage stock management and POS systems would be an advantage.
