Store Attendant

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries for quantity and visible quality.
• Assist in checking delivered goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Ensure all stock is properly labelled, coded, and stored in the designated locations.
• Organize and maintain the storeroom in a clean, tidy, and orderly manner.
• Issue goods to departments against approved store requisitions.
• Ensure stock is rotated using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle where applicable.
• Assist in loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting goods safely within the hotel premises.
• Report damaged, expired, or deteriorated products to the Storekeeper immediately.
• Assist in periodic stock counts and inventory exercises.
• Maintain accurate records of goods received and issued as instructed.
• Ensure storage areas comply with hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Keep storage equipment, shelves, and work areas clean and in good condition.
• Handle stock carefully to prevent loss, damage, or wastage.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Report accidents, unsafe conditions, or incidents promptly to the reporting line manager.

Perform any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Storekeeper or Management.
