Health & Safety Trainee

Main duties and responsibilities

•Assist in conducting and updating risk assessment

•Support compliance activities related to OSHA 2005 and all other related applicable legislation

•Participate in health and safety audits and follow up on actions plan

•Assist in accident investigation and corrective action

•Support coordination of health and safety committee

•Contribute to safety training  and awareness sessions

•Conduct site visits to monitor health and safety compliance

Profile

• Diploma or Bsc (Hons) Occupational Safety and Health Management or any other recognised qualification

• Knowledge in ISO systems will be an advantage

• Dynamic, good interpersonal, problem solving, communication skills, pro-active and detailed oriented

• Promoter for animal welfare
