Introduction
VAT IT Group is a global fintech with divisions including TecEx, WTax, ShareForce, Scytale, Eezi and Playroll. We’re growing fast, and our finance systems are growing with us.

This is a project-heavy role where no two weeks look the same. You’ll work across our business units, with developers and external consultants, and get stuck into new tech that supports our finance team from day one. 

Skills / experience / qualifications required:

• Experience in a finance systems, ERP or accounting software environment
• Comfortable jumping between multiple projects and priorities
• Adaptable and proactive, and calm when things change
• Able to work with developers and take part in system testing
• Confident liaising with external consultants and vendors
• Strong communicator who can switch “hats” between different business units
• A curious, eager learner who looks for extra work and new challenges
• Bonus: SAGE X3 experience

Job description:

• Support finance systems across various business units
• Work with developers on system changes, enhancements and fixes
• Get involved in system testing (UAT) and sign-off
• Assist with data and system migrations
• Manage and liaise with consultants on new technology
• Drive and support finance system projects from start to finish
• Step in on new projects and roles as the business needs
• Spot gaps and improvement opportunities, and raise them proactively
