Stock Controller (Les Gaz Industriels Ltd)

Join Les Gaz Industriels Ltd, a leading player in the industrial gas sector, as we seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to enhance our operations in Port Louis.

In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in managing our inventory of industrial gas products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Your expertise will help maintain optimal stock levels, streamline the supply chain, and support our commitment to excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring stock levels and conducting regular inventory audits.
• Managing the receiving and storage of goods in a timely manner.
• Collaborating with suppliers and logistics to ensure efficient stock replenishment.
• Maintaining accurate records in our inventory management system.
• Receive, Inspect and reconcile incoming goods form suppliers against supporting documentation
• Coordinate the transfer of cylinder between trucks, storage areas and other designated locations.
• Prepare empty cylinders for overseas filling operations as required

To succeed in this role, you will need:

•  Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stores management, or a similar role

  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an advantage)

  Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or gas distribution environment would be an advantage
