Senior Cost Consultant

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Cost Consultant in the vibrant Plaines Wilhems region, where your expertise will shape the future of the construction and property industry. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about delivering accurate cost consultancy and driving value for our clients.

In this full-time role, you will be integral to the success of our projects, working alongside architects, engineers, and project managers to provide insightful cost analysis and strategic advice. Your ability to manage budgets and forecasts effectively will ensure financial sustainability and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on all matters relating to the cost consultancy, procurement and partnering.
• Ensuring the financial viability/business objectives/business strategy of the company.
• Compile tender shortlists, prepare tender invitation documents including establishing full evaluation methodology.
• Manage tender and tender evaluation process.
• Draw an estimate of the overall project, based on the measurements from the designer’s or client’s sketches.
• Deep study of the architect’s and engineers’ plans, identify costs involved and set an overall estimate budget for the project.
• Prepare, maintain and develop a cost plan and cash flow forecast.
• Advise on tendering and contractual procurement options. Prepare recommendations for the Clients’ approval.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum a Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent degree accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor (RICS) and from a recognized University.
• Member of a Professional Association (E.g.: RICS, PQS, CIOB)
• 7+years working experience in the industry.
