Job Description
Floreal Group is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic “Accounts Officer” to join its Finance team.
The selected candidate will report directly to the Financial Accountant. In this role, the successful candidate should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills with a goal to produce accurate and timely reports.
What you will be doing:
- Record and process accounting transactions accurately and on a timely basis.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
- Perform bank reconciliations and intercompany/current account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare and reconcile VAT returns and assist with other tax and statutory reporting requirements.
- Verify invoices, supporting documents and accounting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, schedules and supporting documentation.
- Provide information and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
- Monitor outstanding transactions and follow up with the relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records.
- Identify discrepancies and support improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.

Other qualifications:
- Min HSC with Accounting
- ACCA Qualification Level 1 will be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of International Accounting Standards
- Proven working experience in the accounting field
- Knowledge of Oracle, Netsuite and Excel
- Problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- A self-learner with the ability to work independently as well as in a team and under pressure.
- Experience in a manufacturing sector will be an advantage
