We are seeking motivated and experienced Cooks from Mauritius who are ready to take their skills to Canada.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, portioning, and seasoning.
• Cook meals using grills, ovens, fryers, stoves, and other kitchen equipment.
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and food quality.
• Prepare food for service during busy periods.
• Maintain proper food storage and rotation.
• Ensure food preparation areas and equipment are clean and sanitized.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations.
• Minimize food waste and maintain proper portion control.
• Work closely with kitchen and service staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of F&B/cooking experience.
• Good proficiency in English and French.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays where required.
• Willingness to relocate to Canada.
