We Are Hiring – Messenger/ Driver
Join our team and play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our Management Office.
Currimjee Jeewanjee and Company Limited is looking for a reliable, responsible and service-oriented Messenger / Driver to provide driving, messenger and general support services to the Company and its Management Office.
The successful candidate will be expected to handle errands efficiently, provide professional driving support to Directors, and assist with office and event-related activities whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out messenger duties and errands on behalf of the Company in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide driving services to Director(s) and ensure safe, professional and reliable transportation as required.
- Handle payments and administrative errands with authorities and service providers, including telephone, CWA, CEB and other related bills.
- Assist with the preparation and serving of refreshments, including tea and coffee, to guests and visitors as required.
- Provide back-up support for telephone duties, including attending to incoming calls when required.
- Provide logistical assistance during Company events and activities, including purchasing supplies and food, preparing venues, and assisting with the serving of food and refreshments.
- Act as a back-up for the Messenger assigned to the Management Office, ensuring continuity of service and support when required.
- Perform other related duties and errands as may be assigned by Management.
Candidate Profile
- A valid driving licence and safe driving practices.
- Previous experience in a messenger, driver or similar support role will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of local roads and the ability to plan and complete errands efficiently.
- A reliable, punctual and responsible approach to work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous manner when dealing with Directors, employees, guests and external parties.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism at all times.
- Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks and work as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple errands and priorities.
- A service-oriented attitude, flexibility and willingness to provide support whenever required.
