About the Role

We are recruiting a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, good technical understanding and the ability to transform clients' ideas into practical, stylish and functional kitchen solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences and budget.
• Design customised kitchen layouts based on client needs and available space.
• Prepare detailed 2D/3D designs, plans and quotations.
• Advise clients on materials, finishes, colours, fittings and kitchen accessories.
• Take accurate site measurements and ensure designs are practical and achievable.
• Coordinate with suppliers, installers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Follow up on projects from initial design through to installation.
• Make design adjustments based on client feedback.
• Ensure that designs meet quality, functionality and aesthetic standards.
• Keep up to date with current kitchen design trends, materials and solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in kitchen design, interior design, cabinetry or a related field.
• Proficiency in kitchen/interior design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, Cabinet Vision or similar would be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of measurements, space planning and materials.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused and confident in dealing with clients.
• Ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio of previous kitchen/interior design work would be an advantage.
