SPA THERAPIST

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

• Welcome guests warmly and conduct consultations to understand their needs, preferences and any contraindications. 

• Deliver professional spa treatments and guest experiences in accordance with The Oberoi Standards, ensuring personalized service, attention to detail, professionalism and exceptional guest satisfaction at all times. 

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, feedback and concerns. 

• Maintain guest confidentiality and privacy at all times. 

• Build positive relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and customer loyalty. 

• Recommend suitable treatments and wellness programmes based on guest needs. 

• Promote and sell spa services to enhance the guest experience and support revenue objectives. 

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment, products and supplies are available and maintained in excellent condition. 

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards in treatment rooms and spa facilities at all times. 

• Record and update guest treatment histories and preferences accurately. 

• Follow all health, safety, sanitation and hygiene procedures and regulations. 

• Ensure proper handling, storage and usage of spa products, linens and equipment. 

• Adhere to hotel and spa policies, procedures and professional standards. 

• Report any equipment faults, maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly. 

• Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions and wellness initiatives. 

• Work closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. 

Profile 

• Female. 

• Passionate and customer-focused individual with a strong interest in wellness, beauty and hospitality. 

• Minimum of 3-4 years' experience as a Spa Therapist, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, wellness centre or spa environment. 

• Certificate or Diploma in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy or related field. 

• Valid professional therapist certification or license where applicable. 

• Strong knowledge of massage techniques, body treatments, facials, skincare therapies and wellness practices. 

• Excellent customer service and communication skills in both English and French; additional languages will be an advantage. 

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 

• Ability to recommend and sell spa treatments effectively. 

• Highly organized, professional and attentive to detail. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Motivated team player with a positive attitude and commitment to service excellence. 

• Well-presented and capable of maintaining the highest grooming standards. 

• Flexible and adaptable to operational requirements, including weekends and public holidays.
