Job Description

In this Treasury Manager position

·       Adherence to set standards and compliance requirements - Ensure compliance with GOM & MOM (Global & MEA Operating Model), DHL Group financial and accounting principles (e.g., IFRS), and local statutory requirements

·       Plans and oversees smooth running of all RTR & Intercompany tasks in day-to-day activities and Reporting of the Team

·       Ensures smooth running of month-end and year end closing activities related to RTR and Intercompany and CREST Reporting in accordance with the month end closed timetable and DP DHL guidelines, (e.g. IAS/IFRS principles and local GAAP)

·       Ensures all Balance Sheet Reconciliations including Subledgers (Intercompany Accounts) are performed monthly, reviews and approves according to the guidelines

·       Ensure Team Adherence to Accounting Internal Controls in day-to-day activities, Internaland External Audit readiness and support in closing any gaps identified within agreed timeline

·       Timely resolve escalated issues - Develop strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with Stakeholders

·       Setting of IKOs/Operational Objectives for team members together in Alignment with Accounting manager and monitoring to achieve set Yearly KPIs/ Targets with Team

·       Lead performance reviews of the Accounting team and ensures regular meetings with Team (1 to 1 and PDs)

·       Provide operational guidelines, coaching and on-the job training to team and drive process improvements.

·       Drives a high-performance service culture that nurtures and encourages service excellence, quality and a ‘can do’ mindset to meet and exceed customer expectations.

·       Introduce and steer innovation in existing functional processes, systems, techniques and methods, increasing effectiveness and efficiency - Analyze and recommend changes / improvements in the Accounting guidelines

·       Establish and maintain relationships with Stakeholders, collaborate to drive initiatives/ Ad Hoc Projects on Regional/ Global Finance Level

·       At least 5 years of working experience 

·       Degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA Level 2

·       Proficient in English
