Job Description

In this Senior Treasury Accountant position

  • Manage daily treasury activities for assigned countries.
  • Ensure timely processing and recording of treasury transactions.
  • Monitor and resolve treasury-related exceptions and outstanding items.
  • Ensure timely clearing of reconciling items.
  • Investigate and resolve bank-related discrepancies.
  • Monitor aged reconciling items and drive timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with DHL Treasury Policies and internal controls.
  • Monitor banking mandates, signatories, and access rights.
  • Support annual bank account reviews and audits.
  • Participate in implementation and enhancement of treasury controls.
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all treasury transactions.
  • Prepare treasury reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Act as key contact after the TRS Manager for country finance teams regarding treasury matters.
  • Liaise with banks and external stakeholders as required.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, AP, AR, Controlling, and Shared Service teams.
  • Support regional and global treasury initiatives.
  • Serve as senior technical escalation point for Treasury Accountants.
  • Coach and train junior team members.
  • Support the Treasury Manager in workload planning and resource allocation.
  • Drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Treasury, or related field.
  • ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of finance experience.
