Your Role

• Manage recruitment, interviews and onboarding.
• Prepare employment contracts and other HR correspondence.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, leave, absences and overtime.
• Prepare and verify payroll-related information.
• Support managers in handling employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and performance concerns.
• Follow up on probation periods and performance reviews.
• Assist with training, employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
• Respond to employees’ HR-related queries and provide appropriate guidance.
• Prepare HR reports and monitor key HR indicators.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Mauritian employment legislation.
• Contribute to HR projects and process improvements.

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• At least three years’ experience in a similar HR role.
• Good knowledge of Mauritian employment legislation.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, approachable and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
• Experience in the retail sector would be an advantage.
