Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and minor installations throughout the hotel.
• Inspect and maintain pipes, drains, pumps, valves, water supply, and sanitary fixtures.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, taps, toilets, showers, and other plumbing faults.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, tiling, and general maintenance when required.
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections and report faults, hazards, and equipment issues.
• Follow all Health & Safety, hygiene, and hotel maintenance procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas properly.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately.
• Assist during emergencies such as leaks, flooding, and equipment breakdowns.
• Work effectively with other maintenance trades and hotel departments.
• Maintain good guest service, teamwork, punctuality, and professional conduct.
• Participate in preventive maintenance, training, meetings, and special projects.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Engineering Management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant experience in plumbing, hotel maintenance, or handyman work.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance tools.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, and tiling is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure and during emergencies.
