Health Care Assistants

Reporting to the Nursing Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care while supporting nurses in providing the highest standards of healthcare.

What you will be doing

• Deliver high-quality basic nursing care under the supervision of the nursing team.
• Collect and accurately record patient information upon admission.
• Respond promptly and professionally to patients' requests and call bells.
• Monitor patients' condition and promptly report any changes or concerns to the Ward Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Ensure patients' dignity, privacy, comfort, and safety are maintained at all times.
• Assist with the safe administration and custody of medication, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication charts.
• Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering an exceptional patient experience.
• Comply with all clinical, quality, and infection prevention protocols.

What are we looking for?

• School Certificate (SC) and a Diploma in Health Care Assistance (HCA).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
