Web Developer - (Back End) (FRCI)

We are looking for our eServices Business Unit, an experienced Back End Web Developer who has hands on experience working with ASP.NET with strong expertise in C# and .NET technologies.

Position overview:

As a key element of our team, the main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to web development, passionate about developing, maintaining, and enhancing internal systems while implementing new features based on business requirements. As part of our IT team, you will play a key role in ensuring the security, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain internal systems and web applications using ASP.NET, C#, and VB.NET.
• Implement new features and functionalities based on business requirements.
• Adapt solutions to meet client and internal user requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and enhance system performance.
• Ensure the security and efficiency of IT systems through regular updates and improvements.
• Support the existing IT team with their day-to-day tasks and technical challenges.

Requirements:

Education

• At least a bachelor’s degree in web design & development, Web technologies, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field
• Drupal Certification would be a definite advantage.

Experience

• At least 2 years of proven work experience working with ASP.NET.
• Proficiency in C#, VB, VB.NET, JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET, ASPX, and .NET Framework.
• Experience with APIs, including implementing and integrating external services.
• Good command of SQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
• Experience in system development, maintenance, and debugging.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization.

Skills

• Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like Umbraco or others.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
• Proficiency in development tools such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with task management tools (e.g., Trello, Jira).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
