The Hotel Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of all hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff, addressing and resolving issues efficiently.
- Operate and monitor building systems and equipment, including boilers, air conditioning units, and electrical panels, ensuring they function correctly.
- Monitor and maintain the hotel's water and heating systems to ensure proper operation and avoid disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, including those related to fire safety, electrical systems, and hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including service logs and safety inspections.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, and equipment failures, promptly and effectively.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency procedures related to facility maintenance.
