MAIN FUNCTION:
The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting, demonstrating, and selling electronic security solutions and associated services. This role serves as a liaison between clients and internal administrative and technical teams to ensure a professional level of service. The representative will develop and implement new sales strategies aimed at identifying and pursuing business growth opportunities.
DUTIES:
1.Prospecting: Identify new prospects, initiate contact, and develop connections to expand the customer base.
2.Needs Assessment: Establish the technical needs of customers and recommend appropriate products and services.
3.Customer Inquiries: Address customer inquiries related to the ongoing use of products, maintenance requirements, operations, and other relevant information.
4.Market Promotion: Enhance market awareness and promote the company’s products, technologies, and services.
5.Record Management: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, manage follow-up communications, and oversee sales opportunities.
6.Sales Targets: Actively work to achieve and exceed established sales targets.
7.Project Oversight: Coordinate the installation and delivery of products and ensure the implementation of services.
8.Quality Inspection: Travel to customer locations to assess the quality of work performed by the technical team.
9.Training & Presentations: Provide professional presentations and required training sessions for customers.
10.Technology Development: Engage in ongoing learning and development of new technologies and submit proposals to management.
11.Operational Procedures: ensure strict implementation of procedures aimed at improving operations and service quality.
12.Stakeholder Relationships: Assist in developing relationships with industry stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
13.Project Implementation: Help implement new projects and opportunities as defined by management.
14.Sales Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports to management; sales performance, opportunities.
15.Complaint Management: Address customer complaints, propose solutions, and report issues to management.
16.Administrative Support: Provide support to administrative teams as needed.
17.Other Duties: Perform any other related responsibilities as assigned.
