Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team in a role pivotal to trade compliance and international taxation. This position requires analysing tax structures, ensuring seamless database updates, and interpreting global tax legislation to maintain regulatory compliance. You will be integral in reviewing customs documentation, managing discrepancies, and ensuring our systems are optimised for accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse duties, taxes, and levies, and classify products for compliance.
• Capture and validate duty and tax information from customs clearance documents.
• Investigate tax discrepancies, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Research and update country-specific tax regulations in internal databases using automation tools.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and initiative.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage and coordinate high-value projects.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Excellent high school academic results.
• Undergraduate degree (any discipline).
• Honours degree is advantageous.
