The Talent Acquisition & Development Coordinator is responsible recruitment activities, supports employee mobility programmes, coordinates talent development activities such as training deployment and participates to other training and development projects

 

  • Ensure compliance with governance rules such as SOX, Health & Safety and Brinks policies
  • Maintain the dashboards related to the HR department and communicate them to the HR Department at the end of the month
  • Ensure that smooth recruitment process and support provided to the different LOBs
  • Manage the recruitment process (distribution of advertisements, reception and sorting of CVs, pre-selection of candidates, conducting interviews, participation in decision-making)
  • Support and assist LOB managers in the strategic manning of their department according to their needs
  • Develop a trust-worthy relationship with the different internal stakeholders through accountable management of their requests.
  • Ensure follow-up and provide support the recruitment team and intervene where necessary
  • Develop and implement recruitment plan for Brink’s Mauritius especially for the Manned Security Services with proactivity to reach and respect the recruitment budget provided by the department
  • Promote internal mobility in the company – which is includes and is not limited to communicating open positions to employees, conducting talent detections, making proposals for salary scales, advising management where there may be issues or barriers to this process.
  • Create, Maintain and Update Job Description for all positions
  • Ensure recruitment is done while respecting the legislation and internal procedures of Brink’s such as security check, professional reference check, medical check-up and ensure that candidate submit all the required documents as required.
  • Be responsible for the onboarding of employees in the company – develop, update and maintain onboard pack for each department to ensure successful integration of the employee in the department and reduce departure of new recruits.
  • Develop and implement a training plan for field employees through analysis of the training needs analysis for each LOB.
  • Participate in the development of Human Resources management tools: quality, lean approach, etc.
  • Actively participate in internal communication activities (e.g. company newspaper, internal campaigns, etc.)
  • Supervise the recruitment of operational staff and participate in the recruitment of management and structural staff
  • Maintain and establish good and close working relationship with the external parties relating to training such as the Employment Offices, etc.
  • Work in collaboration with the national authorities for training and employment schemes which are made available to entrerprises – ensure the optimized use of same for the benefit of the company and advise management on the use of same.
  • Develop the operational training catalogue and assist trainers in the preparation of documents required for training registration with the MQA
  • Participate in the HRDC training refund procedures – G1, G3 and any other HRDC training schemes
  • Support the administration of the training centre : logistics, planning, proposals, invoicing, etc.
  • Review, modernize, update training modules in accordance to Brink’s / SRMTC branding guidelines
  • Deliver training modules
  • Produce letters, faxes and e-mails to follow up on recruitments: announcements, responses to internal and external applications, convocation, files, etc.
  • Maintain and updates the records and data of the department
  • Keep up to date the social data dashboards requested by the HRM
  • Ensure relevant reporting of its actions, according to the Brink's HRM models and those of the business
  • Prepare the KPIs of the department and communicate them to the management as requested

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or any related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Recruitment, Training and Development
  • Substantial experience in organizing, evaluating and developing learning course
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Office Tools
  • LEAN Management
  • Driving Licence preferred
