About the Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Stewarding Supervisor to support our Kitchen team at our two resorts in Mauritius. This role focuses on ensuring the kitchen area is always clean.

Your Role and Who You Are

We are looking for a Stewarding Supervisor to become an integral part of our Kitchen team. In this role, you will:

• Supervise and actively participate in the cleaning of all Kitchen and Back of House areas.
• Be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Stewarding department whilst ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.
• Establish thorough cleaning specifications, in manual format, and introduce same by conducting effective training programs.
• Inform the Chief Steward immediately of any sickness or absence within the department.
• Ensure that the proper cleaning material and quantity of same are used for the correct purpose and thus ensuring that over-usage is minimised.
• Ensure that the storage of all equipment and cleaning materials is safe and orderly at all times.
• Notify immediately a senior member of any faulty/unsafe equipment practices.
• Ensure that the availability and highest standard of cleanliness of cutlery and crockery are provided as and when required.

1.1   Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively and resolve problems quickly.
