ACCOUNTANT
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Qualified Accountant / Part Qualified (ACCA Level 2 or equivalent)
Business Degree (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
Knowledge of Excel & D365 Business Central Accounting Software (preferred)
Strong numeracy skills and an analytical acumen
Strong attention to detail
Desire to build a career in Financial Management and Control
KEY FOCUS AREAS:
ACCOUNTS, TAX & BOARD REPORTING
- Maintenance of the accounts of PHL including: Raising invoices to customers, capturing all supplier invoices, accruing all expenses /income, reconciliation of all PHL Bank accounts
- Forex Hedge Accounting in accordance with Group FX Risk Management policy
- Production and circulation of Monthly Management Accounts of PHL by 3rd of each month
- Support the Finance & Treasury Manager to manage the Annual Audit of PHL Company
- Management of annual corporate tax return and payment of all taxes
- Work with Management Company to prepare the monthly payroll, the payment of salaries and statutory deductions in accordance with regulations
- Preparation of Annual Financial Budget and 5-year plan for PHL
- Preparation of board reports for PHL Board
- Assist with additional accounting projects providing analytical support and insights
TREASURY SUPPORT
- Calculate & Review the PHL Funder & Shareholder Covenants and ensure compliance with the covenants
- Preparation of reports for all funders in accordance with the contractual commitments
- Management of surplus liquidity through placing excess funds on deposit at PHL banks
- Oversee liquidity management. Ensure efficiency in cash management
