We are seeking an experienced Spa Manager to lead our talented team and elevate our spa offerings to new heights. The ideal candidate will provide excellent service and enhance public relations by advertising and promoting health products and special services.
Key Responsibilities
- Proven experience as a Spa Manager in a luxury 5* Star hotel and wellness background.
- The successful applicant will be responsible of the day-to-day Spa operation of the Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa Mauritius.
- Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for all guest.
- Drive and ensure sales targets are achieved on a monthly basis and will also be responsible to maximize upselling opportunities as well as actively participate in budget preparation for the Spa.
- Ensure that the set financial targets for the department are met.
- Interact with guest, providing full knowledge and assistance for maximum guest usage in a friendly but unobtrusive manner.
- To monitor guest feedback and to ensure the delivery of an exceptional guest experience.
- Monitor inventory and manage budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- To comply with all policies, standards and procedures.
- Keep Senior Management of the Hotel informed of all member related issues, events and programs.
- Inform associates of job responsibilities, performance expectations, client service standards, or policies and guidelines.
- Provide regular training sessions to spa staff and new recruits.
- Create and implement marketing strategies to promote spa services and enhance guest engagement.
- Preparing and submitting the various reports on time as required by the management.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
- Tertiary education at Degree Level in Leisure Management from a recognized institution or equivalent qualifications.
- Relevant certifications in spa management or wellness are a plus.
- At least 3 year of working experience in the same position.
- Creative and innovative in developing new and exciting spa treatments, facials.
- Excellent organizational, financial and analytical skills.
- Details oriented and deep understanding of Spa treatments and wellness journeys.
- Excellent guest relations and management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and French languages. A third language would be a definite advantage.
