We are looking for SOC Analyst who will be involved in the day to day operations of the Network functions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- All Emtel Business customer incidents and service request are handled as per processes in place, and within acceptable timeframes to meet set KPIs
- Complete assigned Work Orders / Service Requests within SLA
- Contribute to update of processes, along with SLA and associated KPIs
- Contribute to update of database/inventory of network infrastructure as and when required
- Assist in reconciliation of network events, incidents and work orders. Update of Known issues database
- Preparation of reports under unit
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree holder in Telecommunication
- At least two (2) years of experience in helpdesk support
Required Skills and Aptitudes:
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Good understanding of networking protocols and knowledge of ISP mobile network technology
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to work individually and within a team
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and deliver results within tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English and French
- Positive and can do attitude
- Willingness to work on shift/roster basis (24/7 basis)
