LUCRIN is looking for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Officer to oversee and optimise logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organisational, and leadership in logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics and Operational Improvement:
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Develop strategies to optimise resource usage and improve logistics efficiency.
2. Logistics Providers Relations:
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and transport providers.
- Negotiate service agreements and rates to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve logistics-related issues.
3. Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process optimization and implement logistics best practices.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse logistics data and generate reports on KPIs (delivery times, costs, inventory accuracy).
- Present performance reports and propose improvements to management.
- Use data analytics tools to inform decision-making and strategy.
5. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and industry standards.
- Manage and mitigate risks such as transportation delays, inventory issues, and supplier challenges.
6. Team & Cross-Department Collaboration & Coaching:
- Mentor junior logistics staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Contribute to cross-functional meetings and decision-making processes.
7. Backup Responsibilities:
- Act as backup for logistics team members when needed to ensure operational continuity.
- Take on additional responsibilities during periods of high workload or staff absences.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and logistics software.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
