As a Senior Landscape Architect/Designer, you will lead the design and implementation of landscape projects. This role is integral to shaping the outdoor spaces of our development projects.

 

As a Senior Landscape Architect/Designer, you will lead the design and implementation of landscape projects. This role is integral to shaping the outdoor spaces of our development projects. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to create visually stunning and functional landscapes that enhance the property's value and guest experience.

This position combines strategic design leadership with hands-on project management, offering a unique opportunity to shape the aesthetic and functional aspects of our most high-profile projects. The incumbent will also be responsible to follow up on project financials and assist finalising budget exercise.

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and oversee innovative landscape design concepts that align with the aesthetic and functional goals of our exclusive development projects. 
  • Manage multiple landscape projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards. 
  • Work closely with architects, developers, and engineers to integrate landscape designs seamlessly with overall project plans. 
  • Act as the principal liaison for clients, articulating design concepts, addressing feedback, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements. 
  • Incorporate sustainable practices and materials into design solutions to promote environmental stewardship and long-term viability. 
  • Mentor junior landscape architects and designers, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and project success. Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth and development. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design practices to continuously elevate the quality and creativity of landscape projects. 

Qualifications & Competencies required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Landscape Architect Registration) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS).
  • Strong understanding of landscape design principles, horticulture, and environmental sustainability practices.
  • Ability to work harmoniously within multidisciplinary teams, encouraging input and cooperation from architects, engineers, and junior staff.
