Senior Cybersecurity Consultant
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant with a strong background in digital forensics to join their team and lead security assessments for diverse clients across various industries. The successful candidate should possess advanced knowledge and expertise in cybersecurity threats, risk management, security architecture, and digital forensics.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute advanced penetration testing engagements on a variety of systems, including web applications, networks, APIs, and mobile applications.
- Perform threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis to identify security weaknesses.
- Conduct digital forensic investigations to analyze security incidents, gather evidence, and provide insight into breaches.
- Develop, customize, and implement exploit techniques using a wide range of tools and methodologies.
- Create detailed reports that articulate findings, risks, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collect and preserve digital evidence in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements during security incidents.
- Mentor and guide junior penetration testers and forensic specialists, providing training and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their security posture and effectively communicate testing results and remediation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies to continually improve testing methodologies and forensic practices.
- Participate in red teaming exercises and simulated attacks to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes, tools, and frameworks for penetration testing and digital forensics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or Higher).
- 5+ years of experience in penetration testing, digital forensics, or a related cybersecurity role.
- Strong knowledge of penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap) and digital forensics tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Volatility).
- Familiarity with methodologies (e.g., OWASP, NIST) and evidence collection protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to think critically under pressure
