Senior Accounts Officer

We are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Officer to join the team at the Head Office in Mauritius.

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the successful candidate will perform accounting processes and work closely with accounting staffs, and staffs from other departments in the performance of his/her duties.

In this role, the successful candidate should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills with a goal to produce accurate and timely reports.

 What you will be doing:

• Accurately post, update and maintain records of all daily transactions.
• Ability to process and scrutinise data to detect any discrepancies.
• Detail oriented computation and organisation skills to ensure reconciliation of ledgers.
• Proper follow up with customer for any invoices and payment due.
• Generating financial statements and reports in format required.

• Lead accounting, banking, budgets, and internal controls.
• Lead periodic compliance, regulatory and financial audits on company entities.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or ACCA Level 2 completed.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar position or in accounting and finance field.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills.
