Sales Engineer – Low Voltage Products & Solutions

About the Role

As a Sales Engineer at Automation & Power Products Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of Low Voltage products, systems, and services across Mauritius. You will leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets. Your efforts will contribute to sustainable growth in orders, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also have the chance to uncover and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Lead Sales Efforts: Promote and sell Low Voltage products, effectively communicating value propositions to customers.
  • Explore Market Opportunities: Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities within the designated region.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and communicating key details, including delivery timelines, payment terms, and general conditions in line with the company's strategy.
  • Support Sales Processes: Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, including cash collection and project management activities when required.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual with:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Product Expertise: Familiarity with Low Voltage products such as Switchgears, Breakers, EV Chargers, UPS, and more.
  • Sales Experience: 0 to 3 years of sales experience, ideally in a related field.
  • Skills in Stakeholder Management: A strong aptitude for customer management, stakeholder relations, and negotiations.
  • Proficiency in software: Microsoft Office packages &  ERP package
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, French, and Creole, both spoken and written.
  • Valid Driving License for 4 wheeler / Motor Car.
