Sydev (Mauritius) Limited is recruiting, Software test engineers and IT professionals who wish to embark in the world of QA

Selected candidates will undergo a full training process and will work in collaboration with the QA manager and senior software test engineers to master Sydev Products

Software testers will participate in testing of products and ensure that they are up to the client expectation.

Your responsibilities

• Learn and master Squash 
• Create test cases for different releases as well as the regression test packs
• Execute test cases
• Log defects /anomalies and ensure they are fixed and retested
• Report on the test results to all stakeholders
• Work closely with development team, PO, and QA manager to ensure that information is shared across
• Attend meetings with various teams (progress report, introduction to new projects, backlog grooming, release planning, etc)
• Propose ideas for improving QA process and bringing more efficiency

Your differentiating profile

• Holds a degree in Information technology related fields
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to change and to transmit and share knowledge
• Respect deadlines
• Take an interest in different and innovative solutions
• Ability to set professional development goals
• Team spirit
• Good communication (French : written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Additional Qualifications and experience (will be an advantage but is not a must):

• Automation testing
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Kanban)
